Afersis is the main continent/world in which the Afersis Story takes place. Almost no other parts of the world are widely known about, the only other named one in the story is Amanade. Afersis was created by the Gods: Moneru and Suneru in the year 50 000 B.C. to house the Donstropians, people of the gods. The size of Afersis 375 000 km² and is has a population of approximately 1.23 million. Whereas 800 000 are humans and the rest are all other races such as elves, dwarfs, Harpies, Merfolk, Lizardians, Dragonics e.t.c. In Afersis Elemental Crystals are far more common than the outside world. The exertion of magical particles from these crystals in tangent with The Walls have over time influenced the land and changed its climate and terrain. This created the Donstropian Districts which would be made into The Kingdoms when Fonos colonized Afersis. Fonos The Reuniter is widely considered the progenitor to Afersis, which is somewhat true, at least when talking about the humans on Afersis. When Fonos died he left the nine kingdoms to nine of his children. Thereafter their descendants ruled over Afersis and by their rule came human applications of Elemental Magic, multiple technological innovations and Wars. All to shape the modern Afersis of today.

Timeline

The following is a complete (currently incomplete) timeline of all the important events in Afersis history. From 100 000 B.C. to the present (853 A.C.). The Timeline is divided into:

The Eldritch Age

(100 000 B.C. to 1500 B.C.) Not much is known about this time. Only stories and folklore from The Donstropians reference this time.

100 000 B.C. Suneru (The sun god) is born and Moneru (The moon god) is born.

50 000 B.C. The gods create Afersis as paradise and create life to live on it. After seeing what life is good and what is bad they banish the humans of the island and only keep the Donstropians as a people to worship them.

The Donstropian Age

(1500 B.C. to 0 A.C.) Before this point, The Donstropians did not keep records of what they did, hence the uncertainty of what happened before.

1500 B.C. As their creation evolves the gods take a more laid-back approach by distancing themselves from them. They believe that their creations should live on their own. But the Donstropians don’t take kindly to that. Instead, they want to worship the gods even more. Since then, they have dedicated their very existence to worshiping and trying to become like the Gods. This is at least how most people see things today but the story might be a bit more complicated than that. For more information see: Donstropians

1250 B.C. Elemental Crystals and powers are found by the Donstropians and one of them, Tenoch, tries to use them to transform into a God.

1200 B.C. The Underwater Ruins are built.

1100 B.C. The first of The Ancient Pyramids are built.

1000 B.C. The Old Stratus Temple is built.

910 B.C. The first Remembrance, The Mountain Remembrance is found by Gurun.

900 B.C. The Walls are built.

750 B.C. The Ancient Laboratory is built.

500 B.C. The Time and Control Chamber is created.

360 B.C. Book of Magic Flowers is published.

153 B.C. The end of Afersis is prophesied to be in 1000 years.

78 B.C. Proposal of Remembrances is published by Frozo Firitu.

47 B.C. (900 years ago) Zepitru is born.

31 B.C. Reuniteism states that nothing happened before this point in time.

30 B.C. Fonos is born.

10 B.C. The Donstropian Last War starts.

8 B.C. 149th edition of The Dragon-Dragonic Disctonary is published.

5 B.C. Fonos arrives at Afersis

The Golden Age

(0 A.C. to 100 A.C.) This time of Afersis is often regarded highly by the common folk. They see it as when everything began and many want to keep the culture and rites of this time alive.

0 A.C. The final fight between The Founders with Mowonai against Fonos. They lose and Mowonai dies as well as the Donstropians last hope. The Golden Age, the age of Fonos Rule begins.

1 A.C. Afersis is given the name Afersis and the construction of Warina begins. The Founders start The Defiance and swear to bring Fonos as well as his offspring down.

2 A.C. Zeal is born.

3 A.C. Vixo and Leila are born

7 A.C. The twins Aristophes and Cinosag are born

8 A.C. Syllia, Briggs and Moktaus are born.

10 A.C. Mova is born and The Three Royal Knights are appointed.

15 A.C. Oes dies.

20 A.C. The Decadal Meetings are established and the publishment of history books is agreed upon by Fonos, his children and The Three Royal Knights

22 A.C. The Three Royal Knights fully give power to the children who are 12 years or older. (The power is still truly in the hand of Fonos who helps each kingdom).

23 A.C. The Ninth Kingdom is thriving with excessive trading.

25 A.C. Vixo establishes, Infaron as well as the first Iron Mines.

26 A.C. Fonos falls into a deadly sickness and the capital of Water Kingdom (Warina) is finished.

27 A.C. Fonos dies

28 A.C. The Cloud Kingdom is connected to the sky by Aristophes via Elemental Magic, which was one of the first major non-combat uses of magic at the time.

29 A.C. Earth Kingdom makes a treaty with Cloud Kingdom and Mountain Kingdom to support travel and trading between them, Mount-Cloud-Earth Treaty.

30 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Reuniteism is started

31 A.C. The Tree of Life is planted by Syllia. Cinosag finds “something” (The (1st) Swamp Remembrance) in the Lost Forest.

32 A.C. Snow Kingdom established new trade routes by founding the Iced Shore Trading Post.

33 A.C. Mountain Kingdom start mountain trails throughout the kingdom connecting it to The Gates leading to the neighboring kingdoms.

34 A.C. The Iron Mines Crisis

40 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Resolution to mining crisis

45 A.C. Construction of The Arch of Mova begins.

50 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Zeal tells the truth of Oes death thus marking the start of WW1. The Defiance, more specifically The Founders create a time loop, lead by Furido Drayn, to try to stop Zeal from starting the war. But after several years Furido decides to give up but promising that one day, he or his offspring would set things right.

51 A.C. Construction of The Arch of Mova finishes and Snow Kingdom takes a defensive stance in the war.

53 A.C. The Earth Remembrance is used to harden The Ancient Pyramids and The 4th King hides away in them with his people.

57 A.C. Vixo dies and WW1 is over. However The Curse is born.

60 A.C. Decadal Meeting: A puppet government is put in place in Fire Kingdom.

63 A.C. Briggs dies and Enan (his son) takes over Earth Kingdom.

65 A.C. Arken is born.

70 A.C. Decadal Meeting: An official succession order is put in place as a standard for all kingdoms. It states that the firstborn of the current leader is their successor.

79 A.C. Civil war in Earth Kingdom starts.

80 A.C. Decadal Meeting: It's decided that Earth Kingdom will have to make due on its own.

83 A.C. Serey Drayn, Yaruk's father is born.

85 A.C. Moktaus dies and the power transfers to Milodan who emediatly welcomes the Dwarfs into the Kingdom.

89 A.C. Civil war between Earth Kingdom and Sand Kingdom is put on hold.

90 A.C. Decadal Meeting: The treaty between Cloud Kingdom and Mountain Kingdom is expanded upon to include the newly formed Sand Kingdom, Mount-Cloud-Earth Treaty.

98 A.C. Mova finds the Snow Remembrance and uses it to become forever young.

The Mana Age

(100 A.C. to 200 A.C.) With discoveries in magic, Afersis rapidly evolves in technology.

100 A.C. Decadal Meeting: New research and financing is put into finding out more about Elemental Magic with Cloud Kingdom and Water Kingdom in the lead. (Unbeknownst to the public, this is a direct reaction of finding traces of said magic in The Old Stratus Temple and The Underwater Ruins).

109 A.C. Harpies revolt in Cloud Kingdom after racism and hate against any dragon-like creatures. They are quickly silenced and put down.

110 A.C. Decadal Meeting: The first edition of Magic Teirs and Practice is published, however only to nobles.

113 A.C. Harpies rights declared in the Freeism Act.

120 A.C. Decadal Meeting: A proposed standardisation for Spell Patterns is put forward and approved.

124 A.C. Mt.Lavi Monks are formed, separate from the Mountain Kingdom regime, The Defiance quickly reaches out and the monks join.

129 A.C. Mountain Kingdom starts investing in The Mt.Lavi Monks but instead notices Elemental Crystals and their powers.

130 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Great resources are put into the research of Elemental Crystals. How to use them, create them, and implement them in all parts of society.

140 A.C. Decadal Meeting: It is found that the blood of dragons can be used as an alleviator in the production of Elemental Crystals. Therefore The Massive Dragon Massacre begins.

150 A.C. Decadal Meeting: The 2nd edition of Magic Teirs and Practice is published to the public. However strict rules are put in place and propaganda is spread that only those of Fonos blood can use it at its full potential.

158 A.C. Diety Magic is discovered.

160 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Diety Magic is pronounced as illegal. This is because nobles realized praying to Fonos didn't yield Elemental Powers.

168 A.C. Swamp Kingdom starts secretly investigating Diety magic.

170 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Construction is started on The Maryville Archives. They are seen to be a sort of union between all kingdoms, any kingdom leader should be allowed the information in it. Some conflicts arise due to it being located in Water Kingdom but the argument that it's in the middle of Afersis withstands and the plans are finalized.

180 A.C. Decadal Meeting: More rules are put in place for Spell Patterns and magic. Teirs are officially created and The 3rd edition of Magic Teirs and Practice is published.

182 A.C. The Maryville Archives are finished and a big celebration is held in the 1st Church of Fonos.

185 A.C. 75% of all dragons are dead.

190 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Discusscion about ending The Massive Dragon Massace is started. Fire Kingdom leaves decadal meetings and tensions rise.

The War Age

(200 A.C. to 432 A.C.) An arms race begins due to the new technology and magical discoveries as Afersis slowly descended into war.

200 A.C. Decadal Meeting: To celebrate 200 years since Afersis was founded a great festival is proposed with Reuniteism at the forefront. The event was called Freedom Festival of Fonos and was supposed to celebrate how each Kingdom was free yet connected at the same time. This was a publicity stunt by many within the Decadal Meetings to try and ease the recent conflicts that rose from Fire Kingdom leaving the meetings. However, this backfires and yet higher tensions rise as kingdoms compare their new technologies in magical warfare. Aferlo the then leader of Mountain Kingdom finds out that Mova is still alive and has been the queen of Snow Kingdom for all this time. He confronts her asking how he could do the same, however, she doesn't tell him and denies everything.

204 A.C. Mountain Kingdom invades Snow Kingdom in the Snowfall War.

207 A.C. Mountain Kingdom completely destroys many of Snow Kingdom's towns as well as the Iced Shore Trading Post. Arch of Mova is one of the few buildings that are still completely intact. Peace is signed as the Snow Kingdom is in ruin and the Mountain Kingdom prospers.

208 A.C. Construction on The Hall of The Mountain King is started.

210 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Dragon hunting made illegal The Massive Dragon Massace officially ends. At the time 89% of all dragons are dead.

220 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Slavery made illegal in Water Kingdom, Cloud Kingdom and Wooden Kingdom. However, it still occurs in Cloud Kingdom and Water Kingdom to this day and was merely a way to silence protests. Though nowadays people need a permit to handle slaves and it's very uncommon.

223 A.C. First elf elected to lead Wooden Kingdom (Milyra).

227 A.C. The Hall of The Mountain King is completed and is recognized as the most secure place in Afersis.

228 A.C. Mountain Kingdom and the Fire Kingdom create the Burnstone Pact, a military pact to help eachother

230 A.C. Decadal Meeting: More rights for all races are expressed but Mountain Kingdom and Fire Kingdom won’t budge. Tensions are rising between the kingdoms.

234 A.C. Fire Kingdom attacks Wood Kingdom in The Ashwar. All other kingdoms don't want to partake in the war (except for Mountain Kingdom which secretly helps Fire Kingdom).

240 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Mountain Kingdom is left out of Decadal Meetings.

245 A.C. Fire Kingdom is victorious against Wood Kingdom, part of the Sacred Forest is burnt and permanent damage is inflicted on the Tree of Life.

250 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Travel routes are established and Fire Kingdom as well as Mountain Kingdom is left out.

252 A.C. Swamp Kingdom joins the Burnstone Pact.

253 A.C. Fire Kingdom threatens to attack if demands on using the travel routes are not received.

254 A.C. WW2 begins. Fire Kingdom, Swamp Kingdom, Mountain Kingdom and Earth Kingdom against Sand Kingdom, Snow Kingdom, Water Kingdom and Wood Kingdom. Cloud Kingdom stands as neutral but they secretly helped both sides with the transport of weapons and soldiers to gain benefits. They were also responsible for letting Fire Kingdom ambush Snow Kingdom in The Frailburg Showdown

259 A.C. The Frailburg Showdown: Fire Kingdom invades Snow Kingdom through the Mountain Kingdom border using the first prototypes of Airships. 8,000 killed.

260 A.C. Decadal Meeting: Since only a few kingdoms would be able to attend it's decided that Decadal Meetings would be put on hold.

261 A.C. Swamp Kingdom falls to Water Kingdom in the O'saa-Invasion.

262 A.C. Hall of The Mountain King is breached. 1,400 killed

263 A.C. Natra Causes, then leader of Fire Kingdom, is assassinated by Gregory Madrigo I a noble from Water Kingdom.

264 A.C. Fire Kingdom surrenders.

265 A.C. Decadal Meeting: The first non-decadal-decadal-meeting is held as WW2 end. It carves up the land and Afersis is divided into the Blue Side and the Red Side. For more info view: Afersis post-WW2 Divide

360 - Bazel erupts destroying Infaron (The Iron Mines)

The Dark Ages

(432 A.C. to 588 A.C.) Due to the many wars and destruction of many parts of Afersis a long recession and period of darkness ensues.

432 A.C. Sudden death of Vixo II marks the end of WW3.

433 A.C. Decadal Meeting: The abolishment of the Decadal Meetings.

547 A.C. Afersis experiences an all time low in economics, life expectancy and humans are on the verdge of extinction.

The Renaissance

(588 A.C. to 810 A.C.) The Kingdoms slowly begin to reform their bonds and ...

600 A.C. Decadal Meeting: The New Decadal Meetings are formed, bringing them back to try and keep the peace between the kingdoms.

650 - Modern Reunitsm is set up

652 - Calendar is updated and fixed

782 - Water/Fire war starts

807 A.C. Afersis Act 1 begins.

807 - WW3 starts when The Fire Kingdom invades Wood and Earth at the same time.

The Great War

(810 A.C. to 851 A.C.) The longest and most brutal war yet in the history of Afersis.

810 - Cal takes in the curse and turns on the revolutionary army.

814 - Wito, King of Swamp, dies.

817 - Smeg is born

819 - Ayen is born

827 - Bahxel is born

826 - Yaruk is born

829 - Samuel is born

830 - Sacrificial offerings made illegal in Swamp Kingdom

831 - Queen Yladra of the Swamp Kingdom is assassinated

832 - King Woxlyn of Swamp Kingdom commits suicide, Swamp is in caos.

833 - The Wardians steal The Swamp Remembrance

835 - Anneas is born, peace is once again thought to occur between Water and Fire but Cal doesn’t allow it.

840 - Opalús takes over power in Swamp and tells everyone that Wito is still alive as well as that he can talk to other dead like his father and mother.

842 - Wood Kingdom experiences severe bombings and is on fire.

843 - The Wardians steal The Wood Remembrance

846 - Andreus Stream leaves The Defiance because of their use of Anneas.

849 - Tridenti Current leaves The Defiance because of their use of his heritage.

850 - War is over, treaty signed (Meet) Cal knew that he wouldn’t be able to access the time-,wood- or swamp crystals when he was at war, that’s why he ended it.

851 - Water/Fire war ends

852 - Humblegray leaves The Defiance after they refuse to help him get into the Maryville Archives.

The Present

853 A.C. Afersis Act 3 begins.

21st of April (Friday): Confiere wakes up in The Old Stratus Tempel.

22nd of April (Saturday): Session 1, they travel to Falken Town and Gubbos Hideout.

23rd of April (Sunday): Session 2 and Session 3, travel to Breeze Village and fight The Seers in the Church of The Seers.

24th of April (Monday): Session 4, enters Earth Kingdom and travles to Lowest Point as well as Briggsburg.

25th of April (Tuesday): Session 5, fight Moldugas in Shaneville.

26th of April (Wednesday): Session 5 and Session 6, wakes in Shaneville and travels too The Underground.

27th of April (Thursday): Session 6 and Session 7, wakes in The Underground and travels too Dunerik.

28th of April (Friday): Session 8, spends most of the day within or outside of The Ancient Pyramids.

29th of April (Saturday): Session 9, prepares for battle in Dunerik.

30th of April (Sunday): Session 9, wakes in Dunerik and travels to Bindelby Shore after the war.

1st of May (Monday): Session 10, arrives in Monburg.

2nd of May (Tuseday): Session 10, returns to Humblegray and Lowest Point, spend the day there.

3rd of May (Wednesday): Session 10 and Session 11, returns to Mountain Kingdom and The Chasm of Afersis.

4th of May (Thursday): Session 11 wakes in The Chasm of Afersis and returns to Monberg

5th of May (Friday): Session 11, wakes in Monberg and returns to Lowest Point. There after travels to Mt.Lavi.

6th of May (Saturday): Session 12-13-14, the timeloop on Mt.Lavi, travels once again to Lowest Point.

7th of May (Sunday): Session 14, spends the day at Lowest Point

8th of May (Monday): Session 14, travels from Lowest Point to Snow Kingdom, introduction of Genrill.

9th of May (Tuseday): Session 15, wakes in Snow Kingdom while being attacked by snow-goblins.

10th of May (Wednesday): Session 16, wakes in Grue Village and confronts Grease Hailberg. Enters the The Glacier Caves and fights against One-Eyed Frost

11th of May (Thursday): Session 17, caves are connected to The Ancient Laboratory, at midnight fights Yehura Firitu.

12th of May (Friday): Session 17 and Session 18, Yehura Firitu accends and is defeated, Snowden Army knights escort Confiere too Wons Town, introduction to Folia and escape from The Arch of Mova, at midnight meet up with Nave.

13th of May (Saturday): Session 19, Attacked by Sum, arrive in Water Kingdom and meet up with Fish n' Chips, reintroduction of Gregory Madrigo II, thrown in jail.

14th of May (Sunday): Session 20, Session 21 and Session 22, explores Warina, fights in The Golden Arena, fights Tridenti Current and Bahxel Kool fights Mizu. (DEN LÄNGSTA DAGEN I HISTORIEN).

15th of May (Monday): Session 23, election in Warina, Ados wins, evil Tridenti attacks, Ados is put in a fugue state, Mayudo Madrigo orders the arrest of Confiere.

16th of May (Tuesday): Session 23, medics help Ados, an investigation is launched and Confiere spends the day in prison.

17th of May (Wednesday): Session 23, Ban frees from prison.

18th of May (Thursday): Session 24, trying to cure Ados, gets attacked by Grogo Osbourne and Andreus Stream, a resolution is made and they accept their father.

19th of May (Friday): Session 24, preperations for the meeting of The Council.

20th of May (Saturday): Session 25, The Council's third non-decadal-decadal meeting, at midnight travel to Lowest Point.
