Vixo is the second son of Fonos and the first leader of the Fire Kingdom. His legacy is not like his other siblings, he is remembered as Vixo The Cruel because of his many acts against his siblings and fellow kingdoms. Many people see him as the start of any and all conflicts in Afersis since he is often attributed to starting WW1 which then led to the lasting conflict between Fire Kingdom and the rest of the world. Although not all of his acts were inherently destructive, he was responsible for constructing The Iron Mines which has greatly helped the production and refinement of everything from tools to vehicles and also to mention weapons throughout the history of Afersis. When Vixo died he left behind his soul and memories in The Curse. This curse has, for lack of better words, plagued Afersis and has again and again led to conflicts and war.

Early Life

Vixo was the second child of Fonos and Jenies and was considered one of the smartest children for his age already being an expert elemental sorcerer at the age of 4. Though he didn’t read that many books in his life, he considered them as “an easy way for unintelligent people to learn without learning through experience”. Basically, instead of learning about his world through reading, he would rather stay outside for hours and explore, writing down things in his ‘‘handbook’’ about what he experienced, and even giving his own names to things that already had been named. His father Fonos expressed concern about this behavior of not reading, as Vixo’s siblings would be forced to read tons of books on economics and be able to govern over kingdoms. When Fonos tried to confront him about this, Vixo would not change. Vixo and Zeal became extremely good friends as brothers. Zeal was born with an eye disorder so he could not see, this meant that Zeal could not read any books either. Vixo who despised books, took this as an opportunity to teach Zeal about the world through his ideals. Vixo even called Zeal his apprentice. Vixo and Zeal would usually spend hours outside in the woods, where they would explore and learn about the wildlife as well as the plants and animals.

On one faithful night, Vixo told Zeal his greatest dream: "I want the world to remember me, I want them to know me, I want them to see me. You might say it's selfish but humans are selfish beings, that's nothing new. However, it's what you do with your selfishness that is important. I know that with enough time I could reshape Afersis. I could make it whole, I could make it strong, stronger than Father ever could. All I need is that time but we are not dragons, we are humans, and humans are selfish, brutal, and disgusting. Yet we try, we try and try and try over and over again not to be... That's not the world I want to see. I want a world where we don't have to try anymore, only if I had that time". On that night the Time Remembrance and Fire Remembrance were used to create The Curse.

Suneru's Pact

The reason for Vixo's immeasurable intelligence and knack for magic is that he was no normal child. One bright day when he was just a couple of months old the sun shined on him. It was Suneru. Overcome with a sudden unprovoked rage from the slaughtering of his people, The Donstropians he shot down fire towards Vixo, he did not wish to kill him, only to make him suffer. The god gave it his all burning Vixo's skin, face, hands, and eyes, yet Vixo did not scream, he did not even flinch. When Suneru saw this he was taken aback, what was this child? No normal human that's for sure, then he realised. Suneru had seen what Moneru had done to Fonos but not yet understood what it meant. Did it mean that this child and every coming child of Fonos would be indirect children of Moneru? No, he wouldn't accept it, he wouldn't let that happen. It's as if his concern for The Donstropians had completely washed away as he now saw hatred for Moneru and potential in the child. Suneru gave Vixo The Fire Remembrance and made him into his own apostle, yet Vixo would never be tamed and would, unlike Fonos, become his own god, "The God of Rage". Staring into such a radiating light of Suneru would mean death for any normal human, let alone a child. As to say, there was always, since the beginning, something off with Vixo.

Oes abuse

The Three Mighty Knights were always supposed to obey Fonos’s children as if they were Fonos himself even though they were much younger than him. Inadorus and Hermaforius didn’t mind being bossed around by the children because they thought of it as a great way for them to learn about being great kings and queens. Oes however couldn’t stand this and sometimes almost resulted in hitting the children. But in fear of coming on the bad side of the king and thus probably being killed or worse. So Oes didn’t resort to any violence until Fonos died. Now the king couldn’t stop him and he with the other two knights were the leaders of Afersis. Now he could get his ‘‘revenge’’. Vixo and Zeal were often the targets probably because of their strange behavior but they could have also been the most annoying to him, we might never know. The abuse was harsh, it came to the point when Oes nearly killed Zeal. So Vixo decided the only way to end this abuse was to end Oes. He and Zeal would enter Oes' room at midnight and tie Oes to his bed. Vixo awoke Oes, and he ordered Zeal to stab and kill Oes while he was alive. They hid Oes' body, and the mystery of Oes' disappearance would not be discovered until centuries later when proof of the incident was found in Vixo’s ‘‘handbook’’. It is very possible that Zeal was psychologically traumatized after the incident. This explains why Vixo wasn’t happy with Zeal which he states in his ‘‘handbook’’, after all, he had taught Zeal that death was a part of life and you shouldn’t be bothered by it. This is most likely to be connected to Vixo starting to bully and shame Zeal. But this lead Zeal to decide to take a stand against Vixo, Vixo beat Zeal up and dropped him as his apprentice. Which resulted in them being enemies for the rest of their lives.

Mid Life

Vixo got the throne of the Fire Kingdom when he was 15. He was very proud of his Kingdom and he said he would dedicate his entire life to make it great. Vixo built up the capital fairly quickly, it only took him about 8 years. The capital was finished when he was 23 years old. Vixo started establishing Iron Mines for the 8th kingdom. The mines placed him many years ahead of everyone else technology-wise. Though with The Iron Mines Crisis (34 A.C.) all the lava made most of the iron inaccessible for some time. So Vixo and the leaders of the 6th Kingdom and 7th Kingdom, Syllia and Cinosag, agreed that Vixo’s miners could enter their kingdoms to mine the iron that existed there as well. At the 4th Decadal Meeting put forth a proposal to simplify the borders between Wood Kingdom, Swamp Kingdom, and Fire Kingdom, making them into one giant Kingdom. It was Zeal who shut down his proposal and for the first time ever told everyone the truth of what he and Vixo had done to Oes. He concluded that the Fire kingdom and maybe even the 9th kingdom, his own, should be shut down as in him and Vixo shouldn’t have this power. He saw that he wasn’t psychologically stable as well as Vixo being, in his own words: “A pitiful psychopath that believes that whatever he is doing is right. He will go to any lengths to prove he is right and make his beliefs true no matter what anyone tells him. Trust me, I would know”. This would, despite the best efforts of The Founders, start the conflict later to be known as WW1.

Late Life

Vixo and the Fire Kingdom fought with Suneru the sun god on their side. However, in the end, this wasn't enough when taking into account the strength of Vixos brothers and sisters. The Fire Kingdom fought until their last breath in the war and it only ended when Vixo died at 57 A.C.

Personality

Vixo wasn’t bothered by death, he saw it as a part of life, and even said: “death is the brother of sleep”. When his father died he mourned for his death greatly, but only for a short amount of time. When questioned about this many years later he said: “Life is an ongoing wheel. There will be instances where things fall off the wheel. We cannot keep focusing on them, we have to move on to achieve greatness”. The question is if "achieving greatness" was something Vixo thought to be limited by his father being alive.
