Iron Mines

The Iron Mines are located in Fire Kingdom and are the main source of Iron in all of Afersis. The Iron Mines are located near Infaron and the volcano Bazil. Throughout history and now more than ever they are central to the advanced technology of The Fire Kingdom. With easy access to iron, machinery was developed early on.

Iron Mine Crisis

The Iron Mines Crisis refers to a crisis that happened early on in The Fire Kingdom's development relating to Iron Mines. Due to the outbreak of the nearby volcano, all iron production was halted which led to a collapse in the iron market. The heavy reliance on Iron created by the Iron Mines meant a 6-year-long economic depression. However, The Fire Kingdom made it out of it thanks to supplements from other kingdoms which was decided on during the 4th decadal meeting. Although many think it is also due to the cruel nature of Vixo (the then leader), forcing the workers in the mine to continue even if the area still wasn't safe.
