Yaruk Kharmos Drayn, the god of justice, is one of the PCs and a member of Confiere. He has always been obsessed with becoming a dragon and ascending, this is something he has worked towards ever since Session 1, if not before. He slowly pieced the pieces together that The Donstropians were dragonics, just like him. This through exploring The Church of The Seers, (Session 2), and The Ancient Pyramids, (Session 7 and Session 8). When meeting his cousin, Yehura Firitu in The Ancient Laboratory (Session 17), Yaruk became wary of Ephemeral Ascension and began searching for how to achieve a full, non-temporary one. He started training how to fly and learning more about magic in Water Kingdom, Warina, The Maryville Archives (Session 20-Session 24). After learning that absorbing aRemembrance would transform you into a god he set his sights on Cal's Fire Remembrance. After finally receiving it Session 29 he would transform into the dragon god of justice, Kharmos. But not before learning the truth from his deceased grandfather. Yaruk was a Cursed Child, his mother was the 10th child of Fonos. This made Yaruk question everything, he always saw Fonos's blood as unpure and false, yet it was running through his veins. Was he really to become a god? Yes, he would, he had learned that the world was a cruel place, he did not deserve to be a descendant of Fonos, yet he was. That's why he would become a god: To rid the world of unjust and create a world Justice.

Backstory
Yaruk was born in the Fire Kingdom into a once-great noble family called the Drayn’s. This family stems from before the colonization of Afersis and has a great lineage and legacy. This has however been on the decline since the massive dragon massacre began in the year 88. The humans could not coexist with the dragons and therefore hunted them down. Dragonics were seen as the offspring of the evil dragons and devil humans. In other words, his family was hunted. When dragon hunting became illegal, back in 210 A.C., almost 90% of all dragons had been killed. It was then that the Drayn family slowly tried to move back into society. However, dragonics were still seen as taboo for a long time and when something bad happened it would always be blamed on them. The eruption of Bazel, the sudden death of Vixo II, etc. These were all stories Yaruk was told by his family, or rather his grandpa who was born 5 years before The Massive Dragon Massace began, his grandpa would also tell him that their family was descended from true dragons and that if his life went well Yaruk might be the one to solve the secret of dragons and their origin. Yaruk instantly became fascinated by the concept, envisioning the current state of his family as merely a dragon's slumber before its eventual and inevitable rise. He believed he could and would become the one to wake up the still-asleep dragon. Their house, a once-grand mansion has now become a mere facade to the outside world so that the family can maintain their pride. As of now, it’s in desperate need of a renovation but the money isn’t there. At the age of 20, Yaruk joined the Fire Kingdom army in hopes of restoring the pride of his family name as well as making an earning. Yaruk was young and hopeful, full of belief that he would succeed. However, a friend of his Prok, a fellow dragonic, would die in battle. Yaruk felt powerless to stop it and this affected his personality. His hopeful outlook on life became somewhat more warped upon seeing the cruelty of war. His goal, however, did not change. He still wishes to prove his worth to the world. The difference is his emotional connection to the goal. While previously, he was purely hopeful and full of optimism, now he’s slightly cynical and upset at the world for allowing the things that happened to happen but also upset at himself for being too weak to stop it. Yaruk tried to return to his normal life, to live as though nothing had changed but he knew deep down that if he did nothing then nothing would get better. Disturbed every night by internal scenes of war and destruction, with him in the middle of it, powerless to affect anything, he eventually decided that this could no longer go on, something had to change. He decided that he would go out on a journey to fulfill his fate.

Magic
Fire Magic, more specifically seeing and judging the character of people by burning their flaws and sins. Yaruk had a great evolution with his use and understanding of magic during Afersis Act 3. Yaruk always experimented with and tried to use his magic to the utmost extent. This meant finding new ways to use Fire Magic that even scholars didn't think of. At his peak he could sense and easily judge anyone, even gods, holding them accountable for their actions. His strongest move, pulling them into his own realm and courtroom where the sins of the creature are compared to his own. There is no record of Yaruk being the losing side in his courtroom.
post-Afersis Act 3
Becoming The God of Justice entailed judging people and the world as a whole. Yaruk had a dream to rid the world of unjust, to rid it of sin and cruelty. In the beginning Yaruk, or Kharmos which he would be called, would work together with Confiere and especially Bjårte Golden in the uniting of all of Afersis. Yaruk also sought the creation of The Decadal Peace Meetings. By time, however, he saw the limitations in the mortal realm. Humans, unlike dragons, were prone to make mistakes. No one was perfect. True justice could not exist. As a result of this Yaruk would [REDACTED] and move to [REDACTED]. That way he could finally achieve his dream.
