Earthsandia

Earthsandia is a kingdom that was formed when the Earth Kingdom and Sand Kingdom merged after a long civil war lasting almost 800 years.

History

The History of Earthsandia can by broad strokes be divided into three parts: The Donstropian Rule, Civil War, and post-Civil War i.e. the forming of Earthsandia

Donstropian Rule

The area now known as Earthsandia was first ruled by The Copper God Coprum and later his descendants. Their reign lasted from around the year 50,000 B.C. and traces of their civilization still linger with for example The Pyramid Ruins built around 1100 B.C. Earthsandia didn't always have the harsh environment it is known for today during the time of Coprum rivers would flow through the Kingdom and access to water wasn't a problem, a far cry from the reality of the Kingdom now. When The Walls were erected in 900 B.C. Earthsandia's environment slowly began shifting and eventually, the majority of it grew to a barren wasteland. Aside from monsters such as Moldugas there were the few who could stand the climate. Slowly the residents began retreating underground and it was here at that time under the rule of The 4th King that The Earth Remembrance was created. A big polarity had formed between all Kingdoms and Earthsandia sought protection and solidarity from their Pyramids. They stayed there for so long that the outside world seemed less and less important, the monument erected to Coprum all those years ago was left forgotten. When Fonos invaded Afersis the Donstropians living in the pyramids fully sealed themselves away left to rot, and so they did. What kept them alive was Time Magic bound to their souls and physical artifacts such as The 4th King's Helmet. Even if their mind was somewhat intact at first their bodies slowly deteriorated and after hundreds of years, they forgot who they were to begin with.

Civil War

When Fonos took over the land he gave "The Earth Kingdom" to his 7th child Briggs. Under his rule, the Kingdom was prosperous with the opening of ports on the south side of the Kingdom as well as the construction of Briggsburg. However, when Briggs's son Enan took over the kingdom fell into jeopardy. This was mainly because Enan was prioritizing royalty and other high-class people within Briggsburg and not the starving population outside of it. Patrons, followers and inhabitants of, the then, Earth Kingdom were unhappy and started managing their own farmlands and infrastructure. At a point this organization caused by the people even got on par with Enan and his forces and the first clash between them happened at 52 A.C.. The movement of people migrated to the north of Earthsandia and started calling themselves "The Sand Kingdom". Their main and core belief was that the people should rule and that all inhabitants of Earthsandia would be given this right. The main and core belief of "The Earth Kingdom" was uniformity and worship of Fonos as well as his ancestors. This started the Civil War.

During the Civil War, both sides gradually changed and their ideologies became warped. To stay ahead of the more powerful "The Earth Kingdom", "Sand" employed benefactors and allies who didn't follow their core beliefs. Places such as The Underground and Bindelby Shore implored slavery and had a strong connection to the black market. "The Sand Kingdom" became a place where criminals could mobilize without the watchful eye of the ancestors of Fonos which were so very present in almost all other places. "Sand Kingdom" started representing another form of freedom; Anarchy.

Also during this time (from year 0 to around 600 B.C.) one of the most interesting and hard-to-explain phenomena started in Earthsandia. Right below the Cloud Kingdom, parts of Earth are very damp and gravity seems to work differently as well. As a result of this, multiple "earth pillars" started forming. These were so profound that "The Earth Kingdom" during some time was called "The Earth-Pillar Kingdom".
