	There are many types of Gods in Afersis. Gods govern over a specialized domain and gain strength equal to the number of followers they have in their [[Religions\|religion]]. Note that a god mustn't have a religion to receive power, if people ~~belive~~ in their domain they are unknowingly making the god stronger. The exact conditions to become a god are somewhat dubious, absorbing a [[The Remembrances\|Remembrance]] will automatically give infinite [[Affinity]] to the given element practically making the creature into a god. Known examples of gods born from absorbing remembrances are [[Smeg Mitrí]] god of Love, [[Bahxel Kool]] god of beasts/freedom, [[Ayen Pafir]] god of Assasin, and [[Yaruk Drayn]] god of Justice. The domains that a god controls are divided into three different categories: '''Earthly''', '''Conceptual''' and '''Otherworldly'''. The strength of a god isn't necessarily connected to which category its domain is within but it can play an important role.
